The Consumer and Industrials Sector comprises some of the more traditional businesses in any financial market.

Although many businesses, such as travel, entertainment and restaurants, suffered disproportionately through COVID lock-downs, many have benefited from the post-COVID rebound in consumer spending and pent up demand. However, they remain exposed to constrained supply chains, labour shortages and resurging inflation, which will likely hit near-term earnings.

Traditional earnings based valuation metrics are more prevalent and there is a large pool of Mergers and Acquisitions advisers offering their services to these clients.
