John has over 25 years of M&A experience, holding senior leadership roles with a number of global investment banks.
He has led businesses in Australia, New Zealand and South Korea, and has worked across Asia, USA and the UK.
He has advised on M&A transactions totalling over $10bn, has raised $4+bn in equity and $2.5bn in debt, debt capital markets and bonds.
John qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG in the UK, before relocating to Australia.
He spent 11+ years at Macquarie Group, where he was an Executive Director, with roles including Global Head, Consumer; Head of South Korea, Industrials and Financial Institutions; and CEO, Retirement Villages Group.
John was also a Managing Director and Head of Industrials, Healthcare and Real Estate at CIMB / RBS.
John founded Conquest Capital to provide Corporate Advisory and M&A, Capital Raising and Principal Investment advice and acts as an Advisory Partner for Lewis Corporate Advisory.
